Job description

About the Role:
 Join OM TREE SERVICE as a Tree Service Sales Representative. You'll be the face of our company; meeting homeowners, assessing their trees, and closing the deal on trimming, removal, and stump grinding services across the Houston area. 
Responsibilities:
  • Generate new sales leads through networking, referrals, and outreach efforts.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations and provide accurate estimates for tree services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Educate customers on tree health, maintenance, and service options.
  • Coordinate with the sales team/crew leaders to schedule jobs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and local regulations regarding tree service.
  • Keep track of leads, sales, and customer interactions.
  • Other duties as assigned by management to support business operations. 
  • Assess job complexity, equipment access, and hazards (power lines, structures) to price jobs accurately and profitably. 
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the landscaping or tree service industry. (Preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a passion for outdoor work.
  • Additional certifications in horticulture or arboriculture are advantageous.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and walking properties with uneven terrain.
  • Basic smartphone/computer proficiency for quotes and scheduling.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
Compensation:
  • Hourly base pay plus uncapped commission on every job you sell. This is a performance-driven role, your earnings are directly tied to your results, and there is no ceiling on what you can make. Top performers earn well above industry average.
