1587 Prime is a brand new, immersive and upscale dining experience created by Noble 33 in partnership with Champions and global superstars, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. The modern American steakhouse will be affiliated with the iconic Loews Hotel Kansas City, welcoming guests to indulge in an unparalleled culinary journey spanning nearly 10,000 square feet across two floors. The restaurant will boast multiple private dining rooms, a world-class chef's kitchen, and a meat display.


Noble 33 is a hospitality and lifestyle company with an ever-evolving lineup of unique, social dining restaurants stateside and abroad, Noble 33 leads the management and continued expansion of iconic brands Toca Madera and Casa Madera, while also developing brand new concepts that will further expand the boundaries of high-energy fine-dining. Future targets for new locations include West Hollywood, Toronto, Las Vegas, Chicago, Miami, New York, and Dubai.

We are looking for a strong Bar Back who can work with other staff members to ensure that our customers receive prompt, seamless service. The Bar Back will assist in cleaning the bar, preparing garnishes, ensuring the bar is well stocked with napkins, straws, glassware, garnishes, and all other necessities, and taking on other duties to support the Bartender and ensure that the bar operates smoothly. You should be knowledgeable about menu items, attentive, and focused on providing the best possible service in a fast-paced environment.

To be a successful Bar Back, you should be passionate about working as part of a team to deliver excellent drinks and service to customers. You should be efficient, reliable, and perceptive with excellent communication and time management skills

Outcomes

Day to Day

  • Assisting with opening and closing duties, such restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensuring that Bartenders have clean towels, glassware, etc.
  • Ensuring bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
  • Checking taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly, making minor repairs or changing out kegs, if needed.
  • Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.
  • Learning about menu items and memorizing cocktail recipes.
  • Taking orders, preparing drinks, bussing tables, opening tabs, and processing payments especially during peak hours.
  • Speaking to customers, answering questions, handling complaints.
  • Maintain records and report levels of usage to assist in reordering process and ensuring that delivered items are stored properly

Ensure brand standards are maintained

  • Ensure correct product is being used as specified by Beverage Director and on menu
  • Relay any changes on menu to management and staff
  • Proper back bar and well placement of spirits
  • Oversee preparation of cocktails, making sure the right measurements and ingredients are being used.
  • Cleanliness of all wells and organization
  • Making sure that all items prepared properly by prep
  • Help push staff incentive programs
  • Building rapport with guests in order to build our number of repeat customers

Qualifications

  • Exhibit strong multitasking abilities
  • Posses a diligent work ethic
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Display the ability to forecast and anticipate the needs of our guests and the restaurant
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a Full Service Dining Experience
  • Strong knowledge in cocktails, spirits and wine

  • Must be able to stand for the duration of shifts and lift up to 25 lbs
