Overview

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented RV Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will diagnose, inspect, repair, and overhaul recreational vehicles—ranging from travel trailers to motorized units. You will work on systems including gas, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, chassis, and may specialize in generators, appliances, or interior components.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnostics & Repair

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot RV systems and components across multiple trades.

  • Perform functional repairs and install replacement parts to meet quality standards.

  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to ensure vehicles are ready for customer handoff.

Systems & Structural Work

  • Repair and maintain propane gas and electric appliances.

  • Handle fiberglass, body, and structural repairs.

  • Install, repair, and maintain roofs, siding, windows, doors, vents, awnings, and flooring.

Electrical & Plumbing

  • Service 12V and 110V electrical systems, including batteries and wiring.

  • Maintain and repair RV plumbing and water systems.

Documentation & Communication

  • Read and write clear repair orders, documenting parts used and work performed.

  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors, Parts team, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.

General Support

  • Use service manuals, parts catalogs, and digital resources to research technical issues.
    Assist with department clean-up and tool maintenance.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support customer satisfaction and team efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 2–3 years’ hands-on experience in RV, automotive, or related trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing).

  • Familiarity with hitch installation and brake controller setup.

  • Basic electrical knowledge of 12V and 110V systems.

  • RVIA/RVIT certification (or equivalent RV maintenance experience).

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.

  • Proficient in reading tape measures and using hand/power tools.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Willingness to work weekends and in un-climate-controlled environments.

Physical Requirements
  • Regularly stand, walk, reach, and use hands and arms to handle tools and parts.

  • Frequently sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

  • Lift and/or move up to 10 lbs regularly, up to 15 lbs frequently, and up to 25–50 lbs occasionally.

  • Visual acuity to inspect fine details, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Moderate noise exposure in workshop and outdoor environments.
