Job description

A&H Mobile RV Repair is seeking an experienced, dependable Mobile RV Technician to join our team. This is a mobile position that requires traveling to customers’ locations throughout the workday to diagnose, repair, and maintain recreational vehicles.


We are looking for someone who understands RV systems from top to bottom and can accurately diagnose problems and complete repairs correctly the first time. Applicants must have previous RV repair experience, be comfortable working independently, and provide their own tools.

A company service van and work phone will be provided.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Travel to customer locations to diagnose and repair RVs.

Complete approximately three to four service calls per day.

Diagnose and repair 12-volt and 120-volt electrical systems.

Repair wiring and perform rewiring when necessary.

Diagnose and repair RV air-conditioning systems.

Troubleshoot appliances, plumbing systems, water heaters, furnaces, and other RV components.

Repair and rebuild slide-out floors.

Diagnose and repair slide-out systems.

Perform RV roof repairs, reroofing, sealing, and leak repairs.

Perform general interior and exterior RV repairs.

Clearly explain diagnoses and recommended repairs to customers.

Document completed work, parts used, and service findings.

Take clear photographs when required for warranty claims or repair documentation.

Maintain an organized, clean, and properly stocked company service van.

Communicate with the office regarding scheduling, parts, job progress, and additional repairs.

Follow all company procedures and safety requirements.


QUALIFICATIONS


Previous professional RV technician or RV repair experience is required.

Strong knowledge of RV electrical, plumbing, appliance, HVAC, roofing, and slide-out systems.

Ability to diagnose problems accurately and work without constant supervision.

Must provide your own hand tools and specialty tools needed for RV repairs.

Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean and acceptable driving record.

Must be comfortable driving a company van throughout the workday.

Must be able to lift, carry, climb ladders, kneel, bend, and work on RV roofs or in confined spaces.

Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Must be dependable, punctual, organized, and professional.

Must be able to complete repair documentation and use a work phone for scheduling and communication.

Must be able to pass any required background check or driving-record review.

Pay of $30 per billable hour.

IDEAL CANDIDATE


The ideal candidate is an experienced RV technician who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers, and can properly diagnose issues instead of replacing parts unnecessarily. We need someone who is dependable, efficient, comfortable working independently, and capable of handling a wide variety of RV repairs.


Experience is required. This is not an entry-level position.
