Job description

Auto Body & Paint Technician - RV Repair
Rocky Mountain RV & Marine | Albuquerque, NM
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Day Shift
Pay: $17.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications, plus proficiency bonuses.
Join a family-owned dealership that has proudly served New Mexico for nearly 40 years.
We're looking for an experienced technician who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoys a wide variety of paint, body, fiberglass, and interior repair work. If you like solving problems, working with your hands, and seeing the finished product, we'd like to meet you.
Looking for Something Different Than Another Collision Shop?
At Rocky Mountain RV & Marine, every day is different.
Instead of repairing the same vehicles over and over, you'll work on travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, and marine products. One day you may be repairing fiberglass damage, the next you could be restoring cabinetry, replacing flooring, refinishing body panels, or completing a full interior restoration.
If your experience comes from automotive collision repair, RV service, marine repair, or another skilled trade, we encourage you to apply. We value craftsmanship, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
We're willing to train the right candidate on RV-specific systems if you have strong automotive paint and body experience.
Why Rocky Mountain RV & Marine?
  • Family-owned and locally operated
  • Nearly 40 years serving New Mexico
  • Stable, year-round employment
  • Competitive hourly pay with proficiency bonuses
  • Variety of work-not the same repair every day
  • Opportunities to expand your skills across multiple trades
  • Work alongside experienced technicians who take pride in quality workmanship
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Perform finish carpentry and light framing repairs
  • Install and repair carpet, vinyl, laminate, and tile flooring
  • Assist with upholstery repair and replacement
  • Complete interior restoration and RV refurbishment projects
General Shop Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Work closely with the Paint & Body Manager and service team
  • Produce repairs that meet Rocky Mountain RV & Marine quality standards
  • Deliver workmanship that exceeds customer expectations
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys building, repairing, and restoring things.

  • Strong skills in paint preparation, spray painting, refinishing, fiberglass repair, and body repair

  • Experience in cabinetry, finish carpentry, remodeling, flooring installation, upholstery, or other hands-on trades is highly desirable
  • Ability to complete both cosmetic and structural repairs
  • Familiarity with RV systems (electrical, plumbing, appliances, slide-outs, etc.) is a bonus but not required

  • Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
