Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday – Saturday (6 to 7 days per week during active project phases)

Project Scope: Commercial Hospitality Renovations ($500K – $3MM CapEx Values)

Pay Range: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year (Base Salary + Performance Incentives)

The Opportunity

Command Nationwide Hospitality Renovation Scopes. Lead From the Front with a Proven General Contractor.

LaMarca Construction is seeking a high-caliber, autonomous Traveling Commercial Superintendent to spearhead our high-volume hotel renovation initiatives across the United States. Operating as an established, family-owned general contractor with over two decades of exclusive hospitality specialization, our firm has secured the trust of premier global hotel brands through unyielding execution and jobsite precision.

This position is tailored for a seasoned, travel-ready field leader who prefers the fast-paced momentum of high-end interior overhauls over the red tape of massive, rigid corporations. Our typical projects range from $500K to $3MM with aggressive 70 to 100-day cycles, requiring a superintendent who takes total command of trade schedules, logistics, and multi-tier subcontractor crews. At LaMarca, we do not micromanage; we empower elite professionals, give them the logistical backing they need, and directly reward their project milestones. If you are looking for a visible, highly valued role with stable nationwide pipeline structures, this position offers an exceptional career platform.

Key Responsibilities

You will serve as the primary, absolute on-site authority from mobilization through final punch list sign-off, owning schedule compliance, safety protocols, and quality control metrics:

  • Complete Field Operations Command: Direct and manage all daily on-site renovation operations, ensuring tight project timelines match strict brand standards.
  • Subcontractor Orchestration: Lead and sequence all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and finish trade workflows, optimizing daily manpower and eliminating trade-stacking bottlenecks.
  • Interior Finish Quality Control: Supervise and verify high-end interior finish execution, ensuring flawless tolerances across commercial painting, specialized flooring, architectural millwork, and fixture tie-ins.
  • Document Architecture & Inspections: Conduct, track, and document municipal inspections, structural testing benchmarks, and detailed punch lists utilizing modern construction management software.
  • Blueprint Verification: Review and interpret architectural plans, mechanical schematics, and subcontractor scopes of work to identify structural conflicts proactively before they impact critical path timelines.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Maintain polished, clear, and professional communication lines with hotel franchise operators, design teams, and internal Project Managers.
  • Jobsite Safety Stewardship: Oversee comprehensive site safety, keeping a meticulously organized, clean, and compliant work environment across active hospitality properties.

What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

  • Superintendent Tenure: 5 to 7+ years of dedicated professional experience serving as a Lead Superintendent on commercial renovation or tenant improvement (TI) projects within the $500K to $3MM range.
  • Mobility & Commitment: Complete willingness and capability to travel nationwide for 70 to 100 days at a time, working 6 to 7 days per week during active, fast-tracked job phases.
  • Technical Document Fluency: Exceptional ability to read, cross-reference, and interpret complex commercial blueprints, engineering specifications, and interior finish manuals.
  • Tech Literacy: Highly proficient with mobile computing, digital scheduling applications, and standard construction tracking platforms.
  • Licensure Quality: Possession of a valid Driver’s License with an insurable, clean driving history.

Preferred Technical Profiles:

  • Direct, referenceable experience managing full-cycle hotel renovations or hospitality brand conversions.
  • Spanish language fluency or professional working proficiency to ensure seamless communication with Hispanic trade crews and specialty installers.
  • Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction Safety Certifications.

Compensation & Premium Benefits

We invest directly in our traveling field leaders, ensuring your road deployments are supported by a strong financial and care structure:

  • Competitive Base Salary: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year coupled with highly lucrative commission and year-end performance bonuses.
  • Reliable Earnings Flow: Dependable, consistent weekly pay cycle to keep your cash flow predictable.
  • Comprehensive Travel Provisions: Financial allocations for mileage reimbursement alongside a dedicated company mobile tech package (smartphone or tablet).
  • Future Security wealth: Entry into a corporate 401(k) Profit Sharing Framework paired with a structured company Pension Plan.
  • Health & Wellness Support: Dedicated corporate medical insurance reimbursement plan structures to maintain coverage while traveling.
  • Work-Life Balance Allocations: Full eligibility for earned Paid Time Off (PTO), including paid vacation segments, personal sick leave, and paid company holidays.
