A travel ultrasound technician works in different health care facilities using sonographic techniques to aid in testing patients. In this role, your responsibilities include traveling to medical centers, maintaining sonography equipment, completing patient assessments before the procedures, and helping to evaluate a patient’s condition or suspected diagnosis. Other duties of this imaging profession include performing patient record tracking, answering patient questions before performing the procedure, ensuring optimal image quality, and presenting preliminary findings and images to other health care staff for treatment and diagnostic purposes.
