Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (Full-Time)
Eastlake Cardiovascular, P.C.
Multiple Locations (St. Clair Shores amp; Rochester Hills)
Eastlake Cardiovascular is seeking a skilled and experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our growing cardiovascular team. This is a full-time opportunity supporting a fast-paced, high-volume practice with the potential to work between our St. Clair Shores and Rochester Hills locations.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours (no evenings or weekends).
This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative clinical environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
Position Summary
The Vascular Technologist is responsible for performing a full range of non-invasive vascular diagnostic studies using advanced ultrasound and physiological testing equipment. This position works closely with physicians and clinical staff to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound and diagnostic testing, including:
    • Cerebrovascular (head/neck) studies
    • Abdominal vascular imaging
    • Arterial and venous studies of upper and lower extremities
  • Utilize a variety of modalities and techniques, including:
    • Color flow imaging, angio, and duplex ultrasound
    • Continuous wave (CW) Doppler
    • Photoplethysmography (PPG)
    • Segmental pressures and Pulse Volume Recordings (PVRs)
    • Venous mapping
  • Support procedures including venous ablations and peripheral arterial interventions
  • Accurately document findings and maintain patient records within the EMR system
  • Ensure proper equipment use, maintenance, and adherence to quality standards
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical teams to ensure efficient patient flow and care coordination
Qualifications
  • Associate degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Vascular Technology, or a related field
  • Graduate of an accredited vascular/sonography program preferred
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through ARDMS or RVS through CCI
  • Minimum 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience in a hospital or outpatient clinical setting
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of vascular diagnostic testing
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical excellence
  • Ability to work independently and across multiple locations as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system
  • Experience using GE ultrasound equipment
  • Prior experience supporting procedure documentation and/or submissions
