Travel Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity

Rural hospital several hundred miles northwest of Anchorage, AK seeking a full-time, travel Ultrasound Technologist. Travel contracts are 14 weeks in length with housing and travel provided.

Pay: $90.00/hourly

Housing and flights are provided!

Travel Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity:

  • Travel Ultrasound Technologist provides diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures
  • Responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography
  • Travel Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment
  • Will need to be competent in General, OB (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester with anatomy scans), Carotid, and upper and lower DVT exams.

Travel Ultrasound Technologist Qualifications:

  • Travel Ultrasound Technologist must have ARDMS
  • BLS certified
  • At least 1-2 years of experience

  • Rural, remote town northwest of Anchorage
  • No state income tax and permanent fund dividend after a full calendar year of Alaska Residency
