Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of Sales (DOS) to lead sales efforts across multiple properties in the New Orleans market, including City Express, Wyndham, and Tryp by Wyndham. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving top-line revenue through strategic sales planning, proactive market engagement, and strong brand alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute the sales strategy for all assigned properties in the NOLA market
  • Develop and manage relationships with corporate, group, and travel trade clients
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities to grow market share
  • Collaborate with property GMs and revenue teams to align sales and pricing strategies
  • Represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows, and community partnerships
  • Oversee and guide the work of on-property sales associates or third-party sales support
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics to ensure goals are met or exceeded
  • Maintain full compliance with brand sales standards and tools (Marriott and Wyndham)
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel sales (applications without this will not be considered)
  • Prior experience with Marriott and/or Wyndham brands strongly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of the New Orleans hotel market is required
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask across multiple properties with efficiency and professionalism
