Registered Behavior Technician / RBT

Hourly Rate: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and location

Location: Hawaii; Onsite – School Setting

Position Summary

RCM Healthcare is currently seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join theRCM Team working within the Hawaii Department of Education. This is a unique opportunity to use your skills and experience to make a meaningful impact while living and working in a beautiful tropical environment. In this role, you will support students through the implementation of individualized behavioral and educational plans while collaborating closely with teachers, behavioral teams, and families to promote student growth and success.

ResponsibilitiesSchedule / Shift
  • Shift details: Monday – Friday
  • Hours per week: Approximately 35–40 hours per week
  • Contract length: Through the end of the school year with the option to extend through summer or the following school year
Key Duties
  • Implement student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using ABA strategies with at least 90% fidelity per performance checks completed by the LBA
  • Assist teachers and collaborate with educational and behavioral teams to support classroom and school routines
  • Accurately collect, graph, and maintain behavioral data and session documentation
  • Utilize QBS Safety Care de-escalation strategies and physical management techniques when necessary for safety
  • Attend and participate in individual and group supervision sessions to maintain BACB compliance requirements
