Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with exceptional multitasking skills to join our Remarketing team as a Transportation Coordinator I. The Remarketing Transportation coordinator will be responsible for coordinating a smooth, efficient and timely logistics transportation of remarketed vehicles, including retail repossessions, lease returns, and Stellantis-owned assets to various auction locations across the United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate the transportation logistics for remarketed vehicles, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery to distribution centers and/or auction locations.

Verify and update vehicle information, such as mileage and condition, to facilitate accurate vehicle data.

Schedule and coordinate the pick-up of vehicles from retail repossession sites, dealer locations, distribution centers, and/or Stellantis-owned asset locations.

Collaborate with internal teams, transport companies, and auction partners to optimize transportation routes and minimize costs while ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines.

Coordinate with Auction Coordinators and Auction Representatives to address any issues related to vehicle transportation, delivery, or documentation.

Proactively address any transportation-related queries, issues, or concerns promptly and professionally, working towards timely resolutions.

Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, transport companies, and auction partners to foster strong working relationships.

Qualifications and Competencies Required:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required Experience:

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in transportation logistics, vehicle remarketing, auto auctions, or related areas within the automotive industry.

Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience.

Education:

High school diploma, or/GED required; college or degree preferred

Skills Required:

Proficient in using computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and auction platforms.

Attention to detail, organized and ability to multitask effectively.

Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing, dynamic work environment.

Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work independently and effectively while prioritizing tasks efficiently.

Effective at analyzing information/situations, applying common sense understanding, and identifying alternative solutions to resolve problems in a timely manner.

Displays a teamwork spirit in a growing team and organization.

Overtime required required on an as needed basis.

Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.

Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Dallas, TX

Qualifications Preferred:

Bachelors, or four (4) year college degree is preferred.

Understanding of Remarketing principles and practices is a huge plus!

Work Schedule: This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed. Travel is required 10% of the time.
