Job description

Job Title: Technical Architect - Transportation Management Systems (TMS)

Location: Virtual within the US or Canada

Travel is expected within the US at 50% - 75%

Overview:

Core responsibilities focus your efforts as thelead technical consultantfor Blue Yonder Transportation Management Systems solution implementations for customers across the Americas region.

In this role, you willdesign best-in-class solutionsusing a suite of products in the Warehouse Management space, as well as being on the leading edge with our latest product innovations.

You will be thetechnical liaison across of key stakeholders, including key customer contacts, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants, to drive the timely and successful delivery of the final solution.

What you'll do

  • Drive the design, optimization, and implementation of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management software solutions for customers, utilizing industry best practices and process methodologies
  • Apply domain knowledge to fully understand and identify how the Blue Yonder solutions can be configured and delivered to best meet customer requirements/business processes, with regarding
  • Lead Technical and integration design to ensure clear construct and validation tasks and timeline
  • Lead integration design with automation vendors
  • Conduct and/or guide system integration, user acceptance testing and deployment phases of the project to ensure a seamless transition to our steady state associates
  • Sustain the balance between project scope, timeline, and requirements to ensure successful time to value and definitive customer satisfaction
  • Assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution and/or scope, and assess integration complexity, architecture constraints and/or product roadmaps
  • Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projects
  • Communicate business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements

What we are looking for

Industry and Product Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working within Blue Yoder's Transportation Management Systems, either as a customer of Blue Yonder or as a consultant implementing Blue Yonder solutions for customers
  • Additionally relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as HighJump Manhattan or SAP is a plus
  • Current or prior experience working in a management consulting organization or Supply Chain Center preferred
  • Experience in integrating ERP/Host systems with Blue Yonder's Transportation Management Systems
  • Experience with using / Testing APIs

Skills:

  • Strong technical analysis skills, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required

Education:

  • Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research preferred
  • Bachelor's degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,00 USD

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
