• Manage minor enhancements/config changes (profiles, planning settings, charge calculation, statuses, output forms) including documentation and testing.
• Support monitoring and controls: TM cockpit, message logs, integration queues, and operational KPIs; reduce repeats via RCA and knowledge articles.
• Partner with business stakeholders (transport ops, procurement, finance) to refine requirements, prioritize backlog, and deliver improvements.
• Support release management: impact assessment, regression testing, UAT support, and cutover activities.
• Maintain support artifacts: runbooks, SOPs, process flows, functional specs, and training/KT materials.
Required functional expertise
• Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience in TM including planning, tendering, execution, and settlement.
• Solid understanding of integration touchpoints with:
o 3PL , EWM (warehouse handoffs where applicable)
o Carrier connectivity (middleware/EDI/API patterns) and exception management
• Experience working in an AMS model with SLA-driven ticketing (ServiceNow/Jira) and structured RCA.
Technical and delivery skills
• Ability to translate issues into actionable analysis for technical teams (ABAP, CPI Integration Suite).
• Comfortable with TM monitoring tools/logs, interface/error handling, and Batch job monitoring .
• Strong stakeholder management and communication in a fast-paced operations environment.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years (typical) SAP logistics experience with meaningful depth in SAP TM.
• Transportation domain experience (parcel/LTL/TL/ocean/air) preferred.
Highly Desired
• Exposure to 3PL ,SAP – EWM ,  CPI or advanced analytics/reporting for logistics.
• Experience with rate management, complex charge calculation, and carrier contract processes.
• SAP TM certification.
Success measures (typical AMS KPIs)
• SLA attainment, reduced planning/execution disruptions, lower repeat incidents through RCA.
• High-quality releases with low defect leakage; improved stakeholder satisfaction and measurable process efficiency.
