Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will not only excel in data analysis and transportation planning but will also actively engage in collaborating with colleagues, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to projects that positively impact the community and environment. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conduct GIS analysis, prepare maps, and create clear, compelling graphics to support project needs.
  • Use tools like Vistro, Sidra, Synchro, and SimTraffic to perform traffic impact studies and transportation analyses, ensuring effective planning and flow.
  • Conduct parking demand, occupancy, and shared parking studies to help projects optimize parking solutions.
  • Perform site visits and collect valuable data to provide accurate, real-world insights for project development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative transportation solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to research, analyze, and resolve complex transportation issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure project success.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent in relevant work experience.
  • 0-5 years of experience.
  • Developing expertise in planning, analysis, design, and documentation.
  • A passion for analyzing data and solving complex transportation challenges.
  • Developing expertise in the principles, practices, and trends of transportation planning.
