Job description

E-logic is seeking an analytical Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer to spearhead engineering and configuration validations for the U.S. Department of the Navy, operating under NAVSEA (Naval Sea Systems Command) most vital assets. In this role, you will dive deep into Ship Installation Drawings, audit Bills of Materials (BOM), and provide the decisive engineering commentary that ensures Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) seamlessly integrates during carrier modernization and overhaul periods. Your technical oversight will directly impact the structural and mechanical integrity of the fleet.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate logistically significant material changes using engineering drawing packages.
  • Extract Bill of Material (BOM) listings from Ship Installation Drawings to verify Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
  • Support Technical Assessment Review (TAR) teams and research program records to draft structural engineering commentary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
  • 10+ years of engineering experience is preferred.
