Transportation Driver
Richmond, IN (On-site) | Full-Time | $16.50/hour + benefits

Damar Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Transportation Driver to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our community by safely transporting residents to and from their requested destinations in a company-provided vehicle. Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
  • Navigate and travel throughout Wayne County to ensure timely and efficient transportation
  • Ensure the safe and reliable pickup and delivery of residents to their designated locations
  • Complete pre and post trip report for each trip
  • Complete thorough pre- and post-trip reports for every journey, documenting relevant details accurately
  • Prioritize duties in a manner consistent with organizational objectives and growth
  • Complete and update mandatory training and other licensure related items in a timely manner
  • Maintain documentation that is accurate and legible

Qualifications and Skills
  • Required:
    • Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements
    • Valid Indiana driver's license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar's insurance carrier
    • Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
    • Successfully complete a pre-employment physical
    • Favorably meet and maintain Damar's background screening
  • Preferred:
    • High school diploma or GED
    • 6 months of previous professional transportation experience required. Qualifying experience includes any paid role involving the transportation of passengers or clientsl
