About this opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated skilled trailer mechanics at our Fort Wayne shop. From beginners to skilled leaders, each technician will be an integral part of keeping America's freight moving forward through hands-on, in-depth electronic diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
Pay and Schedule
  • Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm
  • The pay range is $25-35 Per Hour depending on experience.

How will you contribute to the success of the team?
  • Always adhere all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Communicate all findings to lead on floor such as parts being needed and other key components that require other department attention.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical systems.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and identify problems.
  • Write up on the repair order an accurate, clear, and detailed description of the cause of failure the repair procedure used.

What makes you a strong candidate for this position?
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a minimum of one year experience working on diesel powered vehicles and equipment.
  • Knowledge in Diesel Mechanics, certification is a preferred.
  • Knowledge in using diagnostic programs.
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Own basic tools.
