Part-Time Transport Driver

Ski's Truck & RV Sales is looking for a Part-Time Transport Driver to safely transport RVs to/from the dealership to the manufacturers, customer delivery locations or other sites as needed. A company truck and fuel will be provided.ย 
**Applicants must have a valid driverโ€™s license, safe driving record, and 1-3 years of experience towing campers. ** ย 
Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Preparation & Inspection: Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the company truck and RVs are secure and in good condition for transport.ย 
  • Route Planning & Navigation: Planning efficient routes, managing fuel, and using GPS systems to navigate large vehicles safely across various regions.ย 
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintaining detailed delivery logs, mileage records, and truck maintenance as necessary.
  • Licensing & Experience: A valid Driverโ€™s License, clean driving record, and experience driving large vehicles or towing fifth-wheel/pull campers is required. ย 
  • Customer Interaction: Coordinating with the dealership and clients to schedule deliveries and addressing any special requirements or issues during transit.ย 
Essential Job Skills:
  • Education:ย  High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • License & Certifications:ย  Valid driverโ€™s license and good driving record is required.
  • Experience:ย  Minimum of two years of towing or transport experience is preferred.
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to drive the company vehicle safely. Ability to perform standardized safety checks.
    • Ability to operate towing equipment.
    • Ability to use basic tools and battery box, etc.
    • Ability to stoop, bend, and sit for long periods of time.ย 
    • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
