Our client's well-established heavy civil and paving construction company is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead their transportation, dispatch, and fleet operations. Renowned for their strong reputation and commitment to excellence, this is an outstanding opportunity for a logistics professional eager to make a significant impact in an established operation.
  • The estimated pay range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000 based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee management of company-owned and independent transportation assets, including a fleet of 60-80 trucks combined.
  • Direct dispatch operations and coordinate activities with brokered trucking partners.
  • Supervise a team of trucking foremen to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Facilitate fleet maintenance, inspections, and compliance to guarantee vehicle readiness.
  • Develop strategies to enhance transportation efficiency and reduce costs, while ensuring adherence to DOT regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet management within the construction, civil, or asphalt sectors.
  • Proven experience in managing transportation operations within heavy civil construction or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, dispatching, and transportation logistics.
