Job Overview

Outdoor Environments Group is seeking a Property Care Crew Leader directly supports the daily activities of Property Care team on private estates, residential, commercial properties maintaining properties to OEG standards. This position ensures the highest standards of horticultural care, garden aesthetics, and landscape maintenance while managing staff, schedules, and supplies. This role may also assist in the Seasonal department.

Responsibilities and Duties

Supervise and direct a small crew during installation and maintenance of client properties.

Assist with hands-on installation of plant material, containers, soil amendments, and decor.

Train and guide crew members on tasks, safety procedures, and equipment use.

Monitor crew productivity and adherence to schedule while maintaining a positive team environment.

Perform routine maintenance duties, such as watering, deadheading, pruning, and fertilizing to OEG standards.

Communicate plant health issues, supply shortages, or site concerns promptly to the Cient Rep.

Load and transport tools, materials, and plant material between the branch and job sites as needed.

Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to OEG standards.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma (degree in horticulture recommended).

  • Relevant certificate may be required.

  • Minimum of 2+ years working experience

  • Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping.

  • On-the-job training as a landscape crew member.

  • Experience in a leadership role would be advantageous.

  • Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions.
