We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Allison Transmission Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to diagnose, remove, repair, and maintain heavy-duty Allison transmissions used in commercial vehicles, such as trucks, buses, and heavy-duty equipment. The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge of Allison transmissions and a proven track record of delivering high-quality service.

Allison Transmission Mechanic/Technician Job Duties:
  • Primary focus on Transmission related issues
  • Diesel engines and bumper-to-bumper truck repairs
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair transmission non-conformance.
  • Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring.
  • Performs other routine duties.

Allison Transmission Mechanic/Technician Desired Skills, Qualities and Requirements:
  • Positive attitude and the ability to set goals and accomplish them.
  • The desire to take advantage of certification opportunities to have the most updated product training.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Technical degree or Allison certification a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working with Allison transmissions

  • Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions.
