Are you an experienced Norwegian freelance translator looking for an immediate, steady stream of work?
We are expanding our pool of Norwegian post-editing specialists and are looking for qualified freelance English-to-Norwegian translators and MTPE specialists to join our global team.
This is an active, ongoing project with live production volume available. If you are looking for a consistent workflow with a reliable partner, this fully remote opportunity gives you the chance to support a long-term project.
Role Overview
  • Language pair: English to Norwegian (EN > nb-NO)
  • Location: 100% Remote
  • Employment Type: Freelance / independent contractor / Ongoing Project

Project Scope & Volume
  • Immediate Workflow: This is a long-term, ongoing account. We have active production volume ready for assignment immediately upon successful onboarding.
  • Service Types: Translation, Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE), and Linguistic Revision/Review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate, post-edit, and revise e-commerce content from English into Norwegian with a focus on natural, precise, and contextually accurate language.
  • Ensure strict adherence to technical terminology, style guides, and client-specific glossaries.
  • Collaborate efficiently with our Project Management team and provide constructive linguistic feedback to optimize localized workflows.
  • Maintain rigorous quality standards while consistently hitting agreed-upon project deadlines.

Requirements
  • Native-level proficiency in Norwegian
  • Strong English proficiency for English-to-Norwegian translation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience in translation, localization, or MTPE.
  • Translation experience with product descriptions and e-commerce content preferred.
  • Experience with AI data annotation or AI-related validation tasks is a plus.
