Housekeeping& Laundry Aide Responsibilities
As aHousekeeping & Laundry Aide, you will help create a clean, comfortable, andsafe environment for residents by maintaining the facility and providingquality laundry services.
Responsibilitiesinclude:
  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces according to established schedules and infection prevention guidelines.
  • Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing, linens, towels, and facility laundry.
  • Operate laundry and housekeeping equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment throughout the facility.
  • Properly handle, store, and use cleaning chemicals and supplies in accordance with facility policies and safety standards.
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or equipment issues promptly.
  • Interact courteously and respectfully with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
  • Follow all infection prevention, OSHA, and facility safety guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping, environmental services, or laundry experience in a healthcare, long-term care, hospitality, or similar setting preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to cleanliness and resident satisfaction.
