About the Position: Performs supervisory duties as Deputy Operations Project Manager of a system of multipurpose water resources development projects with hydropower assets. Serves as the fully empowered deputy with authority to act in on behalf of the Operations Project Manager at all times. Serves as primary advisor in all managerial phases of the Project's work.Qualifications:

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Managing and directing the daily operations, maintenance, and administrative functions of complex multipurpose water resources and hydropower projects; 2) Evaluating complex engineering/maintenance operations, and mitigating operational risks; and 3) Managing program risks and safety policies, to include direct oversight of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12.
