Job description

Job Description

This role will provide dedicated program and execution support, leading day-to-day delivery across EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) initiatives. This role will function as a critical extension of leadership—driving requirements management, stakeholder coordination, and executive-level storytelling to ensure timely, high-quality delivery across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities Requirements & Deliverables Management
  • Lead end-to-end tracking of business requirements across all process areas (e.g., revenue, labor, allocations, SG&A).
  • Coordinate iterative review cycles, incorporating SME and stakeholder feedback into finalized requirements.
  • Manage director-level signoff processes, including tracking status, preparing materials, and ensuring timely approvals.
  • Maintain centralized trackers (e.g., Smartsheet, Excel scorecards) to ensure visibility of status, risks, and dependencies.
Executive Storytelling & Deck Development
  • Lead development of executive-ready presentations (SteerCo, OpCo, Director forums) that clearly communicate program status, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
  • Translate complex financial, technical, and process topics into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for senior leadership.
  • Build and maintain standardized slide templates, visuals, and storytelling frameworks (e.g., problem > approach > impact > ask).
  • Ensure alignment between underlying data/trackers and executive messaging to maintain accuracy and credibility.
  • Partner directly with leadership to refine messaging, anticipate questions, and prepare talking points for key meetings.
Program Execution & Coordination
  • Support execution of Finance Transformation initiatives aligned to EPM implementation, including requirements gathering, design validation, and testing cycles.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Technology, Consulting partners) to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and manage day-to-day workplans, tracking progress, and identifying risks/issues for escalation.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
  • Serve as a liaison across stakeholders (Directors, SMEs, project leads) to drive decision-making and maintain momentum.
  • Draft and send stakeholder communications including:
    • Requirement review requests
    • Signoff reminders
    • Follow-ups and escalations
    • Support preparation of executive and operating committee materials, including summaries, trackers, and talking points.
Issue Resolution & Escalation Management
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks, overdue items, and stakeholder gaps (e.g., unanswered requirements, delayed signoffs).
  • Drive structured escalation processes, including preparing summaries and recommendations for leadership review.
  • Partner with leadership to resolve conflicts, clarify ownership, and unlock progress.
Meeting & Content Preparation
  • Prepare content and coordination for key meetings (e.g., OpCo prep, decision workshops, stakeholder working sessions).
  • Develop and maintain presentation materials, trackers, and decision-support documentation (e.g., drivers/metrics, process outputs).
  • Ensure clear documentation of decisions, next steps, and actions.
Data, Process & Quality Rigor
  • Ensure consistency, completeness, and quality of requirements and outputs (eliminating duplication, resolving gaps, and aligning formats).
  • Support alignment of requirements to data structures, reporting needs, and finance processes.
  • Drive disciplined documentation practices to support auditability and traceability.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5–8+ years of experience in Finance Transformation, FP&A, consulting, or program management.
  • Demonstrated experience building executive-level presentations (SteerCo, OpCo, Board-level or equivalent).
  • Strong program coordination and requirements management experience.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet skills.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex information into clear, structured, executive-ready communications.
