About this Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst for Alternative Investments to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in an unstructured environment and can exercise independent judgment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with complex investment products, including Hedge Funds, Private Equity, BDCs, and Interval Funds, and will play a critical role in enhancing our service model and workflow.
Role Summary
As a Senior Analyst for Alternative Investments, you will be responsible for liaising with our Transfer Agent, coordinating the onboarding of new intermediaries and service providers, and resolving operational issues efficiently and effectively. You will lead strategic projects, develop expertise in diverse investment products, and maintain detailed written procedures for all aspects of the position. This role requires strong organizational skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and professional communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Transfer Agent to ensure accurate processing of activity and escalate issues internally and externally as needed.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new intermediaries and service providers.
- Efficiently navigate alternative technology platforms to ensure timely trade reconciliation and effective problem resolution for enhanced advisory services.
- Resolve operational problems efficiently and effectively.
- Work with complex concepts and products in a dynamic environment with ambiguous situations.
- Develop and maintain detailed written procedures and continuously improve initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead projects to implement strategic changes and improve our service model and workflow.
- Analyze data from the Transfer Agent and offer creative solutions to emerging problems.
- Develop expertise in all investment products and fulfill requests within the scope of the role.
- Support the oversight of Transfer Agent activities and document procedures and processes.
- Capture Transfer Agent data for operations reporting and maintain accountability to deadlines.
- Engage in direct, open, and progressive conversations with management and partners across the firm.
- Support ongoing custodian and intermediary relationships.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
- 5+ years of total relevant work experience
Preferred:
- At least 1+ year of related alternative investment experience
- Experience working with an outsourced Transfer Agent
- Transfer Agent, Intermediary and complex product launch experience
- Strong detail orientation with professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to engage in direct conversations with senior leaders and partners

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
