What you will do:

  • Responsible for the maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.

  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance while minimizing equipment downtime.

  • Communicate with machine technical support technicians to problem-solve equipment issues.

  • Required to work at heights using a scissor lift and/or man lift.

  • Use Apriso to process work orders.

  • Use a voltmeter and an ammeter for equipment testing.

  • Required to perform building maintenance tasks such as 120-volt wiring, network cabling, roof maintenance, HVAC filter changes, and basic plumbing.

What you will bring:

  • Must be able to work in and promote a teamwork atmosphere.

  • Must be exemplary performance in attitude, attendance, and ability.

  • Must be committed to continuous improvement in products, services, and processes.

  • Must be able to read blueprints, schematics, and precision instruments (i.e., micrometers, calipers).

  • Must possess strong leadership and communication (written, oral & interpersonal) skills.

  • Vocational training in industrial maintenance is desired.

  • Previous electrical and mechanical maintenance experience is a plus.

  • Experience and/or certification in the electrical/electronic field would be a plus.

  • Knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics is a plus.

  • Welding experience and machine operator skills are a plus.

  • This is a multi-crafted position; electrical experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge of motor controls, drives, and CNC controls is a plus.

  • Experience in rebuilding electric motors is a plus.
