Job description

Position Summary

Build and sustain safety leadership capability across the enterprise by developing a structured career architecture, standardizing onboarding, and creating world-class training programs that grow future safety leaders. 

Position Details

  • Develop and maintain a Safety Competency Model for all levels and roles. 

  • Serve as custodian of all safety training programs ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. 

  • Grow Human & Organizational Performance (HOP) capability. 

  • Standardize onboarding and build career pathways for safety professionals. 

  • Partner with HR on succession plans and leadership pipelines. 

  • Support onboarding of regional safety leaders with mentoring and structured development. 

  • Design Foreman/General Foreman/PM/PE Leadership Curriculum. 

  • Build engineering hazard-awareness training. 

  • Provide governance oversight for regional safety training programs. 

  • Lead Safety Leadership Summits and enterprise capability events. 

  • Develop mentorship program connecting emerging leaders with senior experts. 

Qualifications 

  • Proven background in leadership development or organizational learning. 

  • Experience designing structured training programs. 

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and HOP. 

  • Ability to partner with HR, Talent, Operations, and Safety Governance. 

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
