Do you want to get into healthcare or nursing and have no prior experience? DeRidder Retirement & Rehabilitation Center's Nurse Aide Training Program is the launching path for you!
***We have new pay scales and are offering sign-on bonuses***
Come join our compassionate team and learn in the classroom and on the job with hands-on experience while earning your Certified Nursing Assistant license. The healthcare industry is the most rewarding field! DeRidder Retirement & Rehabilitation Center covers 100% of the cost for the NATP course as well as your test upon completion of the course within our facility for those individuals selected.
This is a paid, entry level position. Once the class is complete and you are certified, your rate will be brought to the CNA pay scale.
Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Commitment to scheduled class & work hours with expectation of obtaining certification
  • Experience working and communicating with seniors is desired
  • Work effectively with general supervision, ability to organize and manage own work load in a busy
  • Able to accommodate resident requests for assistance within scope of non-certified assistance
  • Ability to communicate well with residents and families promoting customer service and must maintain a calm and warm working environment with team members
  • Meet the physical job demands of the position

Hours of Work: As Scheduled. Works weekends and holidays as scheduled.
