Job description

  • Direct the activities and functions of the Language and Dyslexia Screener research project
  • Collaborate with principal investigators to accomplish project goals and objectives within priorities, timelines, funding limitations, and other specifications
  • Supervise subordinate staff
  • Facilitate development and delivery of training materials and content, training modes, meetings, and conferences
  • Oversee logistics, scheduling, and communications with target audiences and project participants
  • Oversee evaluation of program effectiveness, including evaluation methodology design, implementation, results analysis, and recommended actions
  • Develop and monitor daily operations and coordinate program activities
  • Prepare proposals for continued funding and serve as primary liaison with the current funding source
  • Recruit local participants within Arizona using approved recruitment materials
  • Establish and maintain liaison with all program sites
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
  • Fluent Spanish-English bilingual (desired)
  • Certified speech-language pathologist licensed in Arizona (desired)
  • Research experience (desired)
  • Experience conducting online trainings (desired)
  • Skill in budgeting, implementing and evaluating projects (desired)
  • Knowledge of processes to conduct needs child assessments (desired)
