Position Summary

The Manager, Business Analytics &Reporting partners with Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Technology,and other cross-functional teams to transform financial, operational, labor,guest, and people data into meaningful business insights that improverestaurant performance.

This role is responsible for developing financial& operational reporting, analyzing business trends, supporting strategicinitiatives, and helping leaders make informed decisions using timely,accurate, and actionable information. The position plays an important role indriving accountability through meaningful performance measurement whilecontinuously improving the organization's reporting capabilities.

The successful candidate is naturally curious,enjoys solving business problems through data, and combines a foundation of stronganalytical skills with practical business judgment. This individual will alsostay current on emerging business intelligence, reporting, and AI technologiesto help Farmer Boys continue advancing its analytical capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

Business Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze financial, operational, labor, guest, and people metricsto identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and recurringbusiness reports.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations that improveprofitability, operational execution, and guest satisfaction.
  • Leading operational budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, andexecutive reporting.

Operations & Business Partnership

  • Partner with Operations leadership to review restaurantperformance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support weekly business reports, quarterly business reviews, andother performance reporting.
  • Translate complex data into clear, practical recommendations forbusiness leaders.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives by providing financial andoperational analysis.

Data & Business Intelligence

  • Utilize Power BI, SQL, and existing databases to retrieve,validate, and analyze business data.
  • Partner with IT to improve reporting accuracy, automation, anddata accessibility.
  • Support reporting during system implementation and technologyinitiatives.
  • Stay current on business intelligence, analytics, and AI toolsthat can improve reporting and decision-making.

Education & Experience

  • Four or more years of experience in business analytics, financialanalysis, operations services, FP&A, creating budgets, reporting, or arelated analytical role.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and business insightsthat support operational decision-making.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting toolspreferred.
  • Basic to intermediate SQL experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-unit restaurant, retail, orhospitality organizations preferred.
  • Experience participating in cross-functional projects or systemimplementations is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time exempt position.
  • Occasional evening, weekend, or restaurant travel as businessneeds require.
  • Primarily office-based with extended computer use.
