 ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As an Insurance and Financial Services Representative for DiDonato Insurance & Financial Services, Inc., you will be vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. We grow our agency through meaningful client relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. This role focuses on the ability to assess client needs and conduct effective interviews. You will help customers with relevant insurance and financial products to help them manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams.

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies.  Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate prospects and customers about insurance options.
  • Establish, develop and maintain client relationships in insurance and financial services, and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification. 
  • Provide clients with comprehensive planning and insurance advice.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
  • Selected candidate is expected to remain current in product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education. Courses on ethical and client centered sales practices will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred experience in insurance and financial services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have applicable insurance licenses or must obtain applicable licensing requirements.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, multi-task, stay organized, and be detailed oriented.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, take pride in getting work done accurately and timely, and must be ethical and honest.
