This is an exciting new opportunity to make a big impact! We are looking for an experienced Employee Benefits National Accounts Sales and/or Account Management, to make a slight career shift and become our new Training & Development Specialist in our National Accounts and large case space! You must have performed in a National Accounts role w/ ancillary EB products to be considered for this role.
The Learning & Development Specialist IV of National Accounts is responsible for developing the capabilities of Sales and Client Management professionals across the Regional and National account segments under our sales organization.
The role focuses specifically on field sales execution, client management excellence, and broker engagement, ensuring employees possess the knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary to compete effectively in the marketplace. The role also needs to demonstrate strong facilitation, consulting, and leadership capabilities.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to sales leadership, translating field realities into actionable training strategies that strengthen sales performance and client outcomes.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Designs and delivers advanced training for National Accounts roles including:

Training focuses on strategic selling, complex broker relationships, client retention strategies, and consultative benefit solutions.
2. Develop Advanced Sales Capability Programs
Designs and facilitates advanced capability programs that strengthen:

  • multi-product solution selling

3. Serve as Strategic Advisor to Sales Leadership
Partners with Sales and Client Management leadership to identify capability gaps and develop training strategies that support business growth and client retention.

Job Specifications:
Required education: Bachelor's degree
Required experience: 8-12+ years of experience in employee benefits sales, national account management, or distribution leadership. Preferred experience: Experience designing and delivering advanced sales capability programs.
Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel only (such as for planning purposes, team-building, or conferences) may be required.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.
Salary Range:
$88,000.00 - $129,000.00
