Your Impact

The Training and Development Facilitator provides engaging and effective learning experiences for employees throughout Eskenazi Health. This role is responsible for assessing training needs, designing curriculum, facilitating instructor-led and virtual learning, developing competency-based education programs, and evaluating learning outcomes.

The ideal candidate is an experienced facilitator, instructional designer, and learning professional who understands adult learning principles and can effectively partner with leaders to align education initiatives with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and performance improvement priorities.

Key Responsibilities
Learning & Development
  • Design, develop, facilitate, and evaluate employee training and development programs.
  • Deliver engaging learning experiences using adult learning methodologies and best practices.
  • Facilitate classroom, virtual, and one-on-one learning sessions.
  • Develop competency-based education programs that support employee growth and organizational success.
  • Create training materials, facilitator guides, participant resources, job aids, and multimedia learning tools.
ย  Organizational Training & Performance Improvement
  • Partner with department leaders to assess learning needs and identify performance gaps.
  • Support strategic initiatives through targeted education and development programs.
  • Facilitate onboarding, orientation, customer service, communication, and professional development programs.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and outcome measurement.
ย  Compliance & Regulatory Education
  • Support education programs that align with Joint Commission, OSHA, State Board of Health, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure training content reflects current policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist departments with competency assessment and ongoing employee development initiatives.
ย  Collaboration & Consulting
  • Serve as a trusted learning and development resource to leaders and employees.
  • Consult with departments regarding competency validation, learning strategies, and educational planning.
  • Participate in long-range workforce development and educational planning initiatives.
  • Promote a positive learning environment that supports employee engagement and success.
Required Qualifications

Accredited Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Training & Development, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred; ORย Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in training, instructional design, curriculum development, organizational learning, or employee development may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.

  • Experience facilitating training programs for groups ranging from 5 to 100+ participants.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid Indiana driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in healthcare training, workforce development, or hospital education.Experience managing onboarding and new employee orientation programs.Experience developing competency-based training and evaluation programs.Knowledge of SAP or similar learning and workforce systems.
