POSITION OVERVIEW


Reporting to the Chapter Lead, Application Services, the Software Engineering Specialist is an integrated role as part of the application solutions development team. The Specialist participates in the full development cycle, starting with planning and estimates, followed by implementation and deployment of services, and finally the orchestration and complex integrations required in a continuous integration and deployment context. The person must be able to work smoothly in a constantly evolving and collaborative environment.

The person joining the team as a Software Engineering Specialist will be part of a group responsible for supporting and improving a large number of applications. These applications cover various key BDC processes across its different business areas, including security, loan processes, CRM, and more.

The work is carried out in a complex environment, as our applications interact with the core processes of the Bank. Strong knowledge of .NET development and SwiftUI is essential to fully understand the ecosystem of this team. In addition, knowledge of the banking sector would be an important asset for understanding the processes and business rules embedded in our applications.

A solid command of Agile working methods is essential to integrate well into our ecosystem. The Software Engineering Specialist must also collaborate with the other developers in the domain, as well as with the analysts and developers within their team.


CHALLENGES TO BE MET


  • Participate in all phases of the secure software development life cycle (SSDLC).
  • Design and implement technical solutions that comply with client requirements and software development standards.
  • Produce and maintain architecture and design documents throughout development and after software release.
  • Maintain existing applications.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and team meetings.
  • Adapt to evolving technology and the application of new methods to achieve organizational objectives and follow best practices for the financial sector and IT industry.
  • Monitor the quality and stability of delivered IT systems by following standard product life cycle development practices.
  • Perform regular maintenance on unit tests and ensure that development process documentation is up to date.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
  • At least ten years of experience as a fullstack developer.
  • Experience developing and maintaining secure Full Stack .NET Core solutions with C#.
  • Experience developing front-end solutions with Angular 20 or higher, TypeScript, and RxJS 6 or higher.
  • Experience designing, documenting, developing, securing, and consuming REST APIs. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile mode, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Good knowledge of SOLID design principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with modern authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OpenID Connect and OAuth.
  • Experience developing robust automated tests, including unit tests and service tests.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using YAML, or pipeline as code.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience within Agile delivery teams.
  • Experience developing secure solutions.
  • Proficiency in development using various Azure cloud environment resources, as well as cloud design patterns.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps, NuGet, and related tools.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL.
  • Good understanding of event-driven architecture and knowledge of event streaming and messaging systems such as Kafka and ActiveMQ.
  • Understanding of containerization and cloud services, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Tanzu.
  • Understanding of software engineering approaches such as TDD, Pair Programming, CI/CD, and DevOps.
