Job description

The Director of Nursing (DON) at PSI is in St Robert, Missouri. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the nursing services within our healthcare facilities. The DON ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective management of nursing staff and resources.

In this role, you will develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and promote a culture of excellence and compassion. The DON will also lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices in patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the nursing department across assigned facilities.
  • Manage nursing staff recruitment, development, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and maintain nursing policies, protocols, and standards of care.
