Description

Speedy Freight USA | Dallas, TX | Logistics & Transportation Sales

Drive Growth. Develop People. Lead from the Front. Speedy Freight USA is seeking an experienced Franchise Sales Development Manager to support franchise owners and sales teams in driving revenue growth, new customer acquisition, and sales excellence across our growing franchise network.

This is a highly visible, field-based role requiring an experienced logistics sales professional who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and leading by example. Rather than managing sales activity remotely, you will spend significant time working directly alongside franchise owners and sales representatives in their territories, demonstrating effective prospecting techniques and helping convert opportunities into new business wins.

Extensive travel is a core requirement of this position. Candidates should expect to be travelling for approximately three weeks out of every four, supporting franchisees across multiple territories throughout the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Drive new account acquisition through cold calling, prospecting, door-to-door sales activity, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and discovery meetings.
  • Work directly in the field with franchise owners and sales representatives, conducting sales prospecting activities together to demonstrate and reinforce the Speedy Freight sales methodology.
  • Lead by example by actively participating in customer outreach and new business development activities within franchise territories.
  • Support franchisees in achieving territory sales targets, revenue goals, and new account win objectives.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans and account growth strategies.
  • Identify qualified leads and help convert opportunities into long-term customer relationships.

Sales Coaching, Training & Development

  • Train, coach, and mentor franchise owners and sales representatives on effective B2B sales techniques and business development strategies.
  • Conduct field-based coaching sessions that allow franchisees and sales teams to observe and adopt best-practice sales behaviours firsthand.
  • Lead the delivery of sales training for all new franchisees as a key component of the franchise onboarding and induction programme.
  • Ensure consistent adoption of the Speedy Freight sales methodology across all franchise territories.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, sales plan reviews, and performance coaching sessions.

CRM & Pipeline Management

  • Monitor pipeline health, opportunity progression, and sales forecasting across territories.
  • Ensure accurate CRM management and reporting through HubSpot or equivalent CRM platforms.
  • Track KPIs, conversion rates, prospecting activity, and customer acquisition metrics.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly sales performance reports to senior leadership.

Franchise Network Support

  • Build strong, consultative relationships with franchise owners and their sales representatives.
  • Support new franchisees through onboarding, sales training, and territory development activities.
  • Share sales best practices and success stories throughout the franchise network.
  • Collaborate with franchise business coaches and leadership teams to maximise territory performance and profitability.

5+ years of successful sales experience within:
