Position Summary

The Manager, Sales Training & Development leads the onboarding, licensing preparation, training, coaching, and ongoing development of our mortgage sales team. This role partners with Sales, HR, Operations, IT, and Compliance to build high-performing teams, improve sales effectiveness, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The position also oversees the Client Success Assistant (CSA) team responsible for quality assurance and uses performance data to identify training opportunities and process improvements.

What You'll Do
  • Lead onboarding and NMLS SAFE exam preparation for new Mortgage Account Executives.
  • Design and deliver engaging sales, product, systems, compliance, and customer experience training.
  • Coach new and existing sales professionals to improve performance and productivity.
  • Develop leadership training for Sales Managers and Directors.
  • Manage the CSA team and identify quality trends that drive targeted coaching.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve sales processes and technology.
  • Analyze training effectiveness and prepare performance reports for leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Seven or more years of mortgage or home finance experience.
  • Mortgage sales experience as a Loan Officer or Account Executive preferred.
  • Experience in training, coaching, leadership development, or sales enablement.
  • Previous leadership or people management experience.
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills.
