The Training and Development Specialist will be passionate about mentoring others, building effective learning programs, and staying at the forefront of industry best practices. Essential Job Functions: 

  • Deliver engaging training sessions for new employees and established team members (i.e. on-site, virtual, on demand) that are aligned to Company goals and strategic initiatives 

  • Participate in the development of training curriculum, e-learning tools, and training programs that drive effectiveness and efficiency 

  • Assist with creating, updating, and continuously improving quick reference guides and other performance support tools 

  • Conduct refresher training for existing employees upon manager/key stakeholder requests 

  • Collect and analyze feedback from trainees to evaluate effectiveness and enhance training programs 

  • Track training completion and maintain accurate training records 

  • Stay informed of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure training remains current and relevant 

  • Be a mentor for new and established employees, offering guidance, resources and ongoing support for professional development and career growth 

  • Provide training support and participate as a subject matter expert in user acceptance testing for technology integrations, software upgrades, and other projects as necessary 

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Experience/Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of Personal Lines Auto Insurance, regulations, and claim processes 

  • 3+ years of experience managing Personal Lines claims; Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and Bodily Injury (BI) claims and litigation experience is preferred 

  • A minimum of 1 year PIP and BI training experience, preferred but not required 

  • Proficiency with training technologies/Learning Management Systems is a plus

  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Power Point, Excel 

  • Must be able to work in the office 5 days per week while actively training
