As the Development & Communications Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:  

  • Process and accurately enter donations into the development database, ensuring gifts and donor information are recorded in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and mail donor acknowledgment and thank-you letters, ensuring donors receive prompt and accurate recognition of their support.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date donor records and database information, including data entry and updates.
  • Assist with donor stewardship activities, including donor correspondence, follow-up, invitations, and other communications.
  • Assist with database reporting, including preparing donor lists, reports, and other information needed by the Development team.
  • Assist with the development, proofreading, editing, and preparation of communications and marketing materials, including newsletters, appeals, publications, and correspondence.
  • Assist with social media and digital communications in support of fundraising campaigns, events, and organizational initiatives.

Development & Communications Assistant Minimum Salary: $ 22.00/hour

Development & Communications Assistant Maximum Salary: $25.00/hour


Development & Communications Coordinator Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 4PM (35 hours/week)


Qualifications:  

  • Associates Degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of current car insurance and registration and access to a reliable, working vehicle
