Internship Summary: This position involves supporting the C+FS PR and Development team on Public Relations projects.ย 

Major Responsibilities/Activities May Include but are not limited to:

  • Writing:
    • Press Releases
    • Media Advisories
    • Articles for C+FS website
    • Articles for C+FS Intranet
  • Graphic Design:
    • Flyers
    • Banners
    • Brochures
    • Social Media
  • Communications:
    • Internal and external messaging
    • Pitching story ideas for the media
  • Development:
    • Assist Development Team with donor prospecting
    • Utilize Fundraising Software, Raiser's Edge to help manage donor portfolios
    • Help accept donations in support of the Development team receiving in-kind gifts to help facilitate building donor relationships
    • Assist the Development team with event organization, meeting preparation and donation drives as needed.

Education Requirements:

  • In an undergraduate or graduate program with a focus in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing.
  • Enrollment in a credit bearing program.

Schedule:

  • Flexible scheduling but must be able to work at the office location during work hours.

This is an unpaid internship for college credit.
