Position Overview 
As a Master Trainer, your primary responsibility will be delivering exceptional personal training services while helping maintain a high standard of coaching across the team. You will conduct assessments, design customized programs, support trainer development, and contribute to business growth through client relationships, referrals, and community engagement.
This role combines hands-on coaching, leadership, and business development to help grow both our clients' success and the GYMGUYZ brand throughout the Austin area.

Responsibilities


Client Training & Assessments


  • Deliver in-home and on-site personal training sessions for clients of varying ages, fitness levels, and goals
  • Conduct Initial Assessments and Reassessments using the GYMGUYZ App
  • Design personalized exercise programs tailored to each client's needs and objectives
  • Track client progress and modify programming as needed to ensure results
  • Maintain exceptional client service and retention
  • Travel to client locations throughout the service area
  • Maintain accurate scheduling, session notes, and client records within company systems

Leadership & Team Support


  • Serve as a role model and resource for fellow trainers
  • Mentor and support trainers in program design, client communication, and service delivery
  • Help maintain training quality standards across the team
  • Assist with onboarding and development of new trainers as needed

Business Development


  • Build rapport with prospective clients during assessments
  • Support assessment conversion and client retention goals
  • Promote the GYMGUYZ brand within the community
  • Participate in local networking, referral-building, and marketing initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to grow business relationships and community partnerships
Qualifications

  • Nationally accredited Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, or equivalent)
  • Current CPR/AED Certification
  • Minimum 3 years of personal training experience
  • Demonstrated success helping clients achieve measurable results
  • Experience mentoring, leading, or supporting other trainers preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Sales, assessment, or business development experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel throughout the Greater Austin service area
