Through your strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and experience with modern learning practices and technologies, you will help shape a scalable, client-centric approach to learning for employees and clients.


Your role

• Define and lead the Learning and Development strategy, transforming the function into a modern, scalable, and client-centric team that supports business priorities and growth objectives

• Conduct a comprehensive learning needs assessment across the business to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for impact

• Oversee the design and delivery of learning programs that support new business initiatives and client engagement

• Ensure learning solutions are practical, measurable, and aligned to real business outcomes, including clear frameworks for evaluating effectiveness and return on investment

• Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS), and identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve accessibility, efficiency, and the learner experience

• Lead the execution and evolution of the client and business feedback program to inform learning priorities, refine training programs, and support continuous improvement of the client experience

• Partner with stakeholders to understand evolving needs, embed feedback into key touchpoints, and act as a trusted advisor on development strategies and capability building

You are responsible for advancing the learning function toward a modern, scalable, and client-focused model while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, structure, and continuous improvement.


Prerequisites

• 7 to 10+ years of relevant Learning and Development experience with a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field

• Demonstrate significant experience developing and executing Learning and Development strategies in a corporate environment

• Demonstrate experience leading teams and driving change within a function

• Demonstrate success implementing learning technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), and modern learning approaches in a corporate environment

• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including comfort working with senior leaders


Preference will be given to candidates based in Toronto; however, exceptional candidates based in Montreal will be considered.
