The Undersea Technology Portfolio, within SPA's Sea, Land, & Air Division, conducts rigorous and objective analyses to enable the Navy and other DoD organizations to make decisions, plans, and strategies to deliver emerging technologies and warfighting capabilities. We support clients across the undersea, naval special warfare, and expeditionary warfare enterprises, including those within resourcing and requirements, acquisition, and science and technology.
SPA is seeking a Training Analyst to support NAVSEA's Naval Special Warfare Program Office.
Responsibilities
The Instructor/Training Analyst will support NAVSEA's PMS 340 office by developing, delivering, and maintaining training materials that support Fleet operators, maintainers, and program stakeholders. This role includes conducting training needs assessments, creating instructional content, facilitating classroom and hands-on training sessions, and coordinating with engineering, logistics, and program teams to ensure training products accurately reflect current system capabilities and operational requirements.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in education, training, instructional design, or a related field
  • 3-7 years of experience developing or delivering training for DoD or Navy programs
  • Experience creating instructional materials, lesson plans, or technical training content
  • Active DoD Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with NAVSEA programs, Fleet training environments, or PMS 340 mission areas
  • Experience with blended learning approaches, including e-learning tools or simulation-based training
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse learner groups
