What does a trainee sustainability do?

A Trainee Sustainability works under the guidance of sustainability professionals to support environmental and social initiatives within an organization. Their duties often include conducting research, collecting and analyzing sustainability data, assisting in the implementation of eco-friendly practices, and preparing reports on sustainability performance. They may also help coordinate awareness campaigns, support regulatory compliance, and contribute ideas for improving the organization’s sustainability efforts. This role is typically entry-level and designed to provide practical experience and learning opportunities in the field of sustainability.

What types of projects can a trainee sustainability expect to work on during their early career?

As a Trainee Sustainability professional, you will typically be involved in a variety of projects such as conducting energy audits, supporting waste reduction initiatives, gathering data for sustainability reports, and assisting with environmental impact assessments.
