Physical Requirements
Moving and lifting object from floor to above shoulders up to 25 pounds. Standing and sitting at computer terminals and laboratory bench completing repetitive tasks for extensive periods of time. Working with materials requiring personal protective equipment in accord with EH&S policy.
Shift
Primarily Days Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some evenings and weekends may be possible due to experimenation
Job Summary
The successful candidate will help manage research operations, project timelines, personnel, and resources while ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
Working closely with the PI, trainees, staff, and collaborators, this individual will facilitate basic and translational research studies. Responsibilities include coordinating study activities, troubleshooting scientific/operational challenges, mentoring/training lab personnel, and supporting grant management activities, including proposal preparation, progress reports, and tracking project milestones.
Additional responsibilities include data analysis, manuscript preparation, and scientific reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills and thrive in a collaborative research environment.
