SALES TRAINEE/MERCHANDISER

GREATER BOSTON AREA

RUBY WINES INC.

We are seeking a full-time salaried position as a Sales trainee/Merchandiser. We are a wine and spirits distributor serving all of Massachusetts.

Job Description:

As a sales trainee you will become familiar with our portfolio while merchandising in the stores in your scheduled customer area. The merchandiser assists with deliveries, displays and product placements in assigned stores. He or she will promote Ruby’s portfolio in our retail accounts.

Essential Duties:

· Maximize product distribution within our customer base.

· Arrange and schedule to be available at stores when needed including early AM hours.

· Promote displays and utilize point of sale materials.

· Perform proper shelf and display products to ensure that there are not any out of stocks.

· Be able to do store resets that may be early or outside of their normal territory.

· Ability to interact well we people.

· Make effective use of your time.

· Become familiar while learning and understanding the Ruby portfolio.


Requirements:

Must be able to lift a 50 lb case of wine frequently.

· Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

· Good organizational skills

· Work with minimal supervision.

· Able and willing to work flexible hours including some weekends.

· Must always maintain a professional appearance.

· A company van is provided for this position.

Qualifications:

Must have at least 3 years of customer service/driving experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

· 1-2 years alcohol/beverage industry experience would be a plus.
