Start and end dates are flexible. Interns must be available to work part-time (10-29 hours/week) in person at the designated office location.

These paid, seasonal assignments deliver meaningful, high-impact work designed to accelerate your growth. You'll take on real responsibilities, build practical skills, and gain exposure to the business through structured learning, executive engagement, and networking opportunities.


Our internship program is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, as well as individuals seeking to deepen their education through immersive, professional experience in the entertainment industry.

The Sony Pictures Television Social Marketing departmentis responsible forbuilding, managing, and innovating the SPT social handles in support of ourcurrent andlibrary series. The SPT Social works closely with the Brand Marketing team to align on social strategies and activations in support of upcoming programming such as The Boys, The Night Agent, Outlander, and more. In addition to managing our social ideations, the SPT Social team alsoideatesand produces social-first custom content that is captured on-set, junkets, red carpets,etcin support of the current programming. We are looking for an intern who will bring a fresh perspective to our social strategy, stay on top of pop culture and trends, andhasa creative spirit willing to take risks & more!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule and publish social content whilemaintainingthe SPT social calendar; Track social and cultural trends to generatetimely, low-lift content ideas

  • Edit and deliver quick-turn photo and video assets to support reactive posting needs

  • Brainstorm and develop social concepts to amplify press junkets and red-carpet events

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing aBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Creative Design/Editing

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels

  • Proactive self-starter with a passion for pitching fresh ideas and opportunities for Sony Pictures Television

  • Highly organized with excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong ability to craft social copy that drives conversation and supports community management efforts

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:

  • Passion for television and/or film marketing

  • Can confidently edit/produce low-lift social assets on the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop; Experience managing social media accounts, either personal or brand-related

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
