Position: Structural Engineer in Syracuse, NY

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our growing engineering team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of building projects, collaborating with experienced professionals to develop efficient, safe, and cost-effective structural designs.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop effective structural design solutions for a variety of building projects.
  • Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations for structural systems.
  • Create and maintain structural computer models using industry-standard software.
  • Prepare and review engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate and oversee the preparation of structural construction drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet project requirements, applicable codes, and industry standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting project schedules and deadlines.
  • Provide technical support throughout the design and construction process.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of structural engineering experience.
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam is required.
